Keep your skin perfect
Our skin is a very important part of our body. It protects our muscles and organs from the sun, rain, injuries and wind. We feel and tough things and other people through our skin. Our warmth flows and radiates through our skin and many people consider having smooth, healthy skin to be very attractive.
Our skin goes through a lot in order to protect us. So to thank our skin, we need to take good care of it.
Here are some tips to have perfectly healthy skin.
Hide and Seek with the Sun
The sun is the most common enemy of the skin. Most skin damage comes from exposure to UV rays, or ultraviolet rays. Ultraviolet rays are very powerful sun rays, so powerful that they can damage our skin cells.
So to protect our skin from UV rays, we need to minimize exposure to the sun from about 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. However, sunlight from 8 AM to 9 AM is healthy, as it facilitates the production of vitamin D. If it isn’t possible for you to get some sunshine during that hour, you can try taking some women beauty supplements that contain Vitamin D. If you plan to go out during the peak hours, remember to put on a layer of sunblock. At least SPF 30 would be fine for any ordinary day.
Scientists agree that vitamins are good for the skin. So take in foods that are abundant in Vitamins A, D and C. Carrots, bright vegetables and green leaves are rich in vitamin A. Milk is a good source of Vitamin D, if you aren’t lactose-intolerant. Other milk brands also are fortified with Vitamin A. Citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons and grapefruit are rich in Vitamin C. Do your research and determine which vitamin-rich foods you want in your diet. You can also look up recipes that make use of these foods in an appetizing way. No need for plain steamed carrots; opt for sweet glazed carrots instead. Try some salads and pickles as well.
Old and Dusty
You also have to avoid polluted areas and smoke to keep your skin clear. Smoking is not only damaging to the lungs; it also destroys the proteins that keep your skin smooth and clear. Tiny dust particles in the air enter your skin and damage the sheet of collagen that keeps your skin smooth and elastic. Toxins also cause skin diseases such as acne, rashes, age spots and infections. To avoid this, remember to avoid smoky, polluted areas and smokers. It is also a good idea to stop smoking, and encourage others to do the same. If you do have acne, don’t pick at your scabs to avoid infection.
Lastly, water is your best friend. Always keep yourself hydrated, and
moisturize your skin often. Some perfect skin supplements can also help smoothen your skin with antioxidants.
Remember to take care of your skin; it is the only set you will ever have in your lifetime.
