Make Your Mom’s Day with These Extremely Cute DIY Mother’s Day Gifts!
We understand how difficult it is to find the perfect present for your favorite person in the world. Here are five absolutely *adorable* DIY gifts you can make to show your love to your Mom!
1. Passion Tea Sugar Scrub
We can bet your Mom will love this citrus tea infused Tropical sugar scrub, which is perfect for exfoliating and moisturizing dry skin!
Using a scrub regularly helps remove dead skin cells and leaves your skin feeling smooth. The use of almond or jojoba oil also helps nourishes the skin.
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 Passion Tea bags
- ¼-½ cup Jojoba Oil Pure
- Orange Essential Oil
- Pink food coloring (optional)
Pour two tea bags into a small bowl with sugar.
Add a couple drops of pink food coloring. Be careful not to add too much or it will dye your skin.
Mix in 5 drops of orange essential oil. Store in airtight container.
- Tea Bags
- Flowers (baby carnations; or plastic flowers)
- Tea cup/hot water
Take a tea bag and gently remove the brand’s tag on the end
Cut a small flower near its base and tie the tea bag string to the base of the flower
Be sure to tie the flower about half-way down the string so it will hang well on a tea cup.
Trim off any excess string past the flower with scissors
our hot water into a tea cup, place your floral tea bag in and seep for 2-5 minutes

4. Adorable String Heart Cards
Sometimes a simple effort can be touching, we can’t think of any reason why your mom won’t love it!
- colorful yarn
- thick card stock cut out to the size you want or use these watercolor postcards like we did
- large threading needle
- pencil, eraser, scissors
- heart template (we used a cookie cutter)
Trace your heart template onto the cards with a pencil. Punch holes alongside the heart with your needle. Erase your pencil marks.
Thread yarn through the holes in various directions. Cut off the yarn on the underside and tie up.
Write a cute message and you are done!
5. Floral Herb Perfume
This fragrant floral and herb “perfume” is simply made with water and some essential oils!
- Filtered water
- Assorted flowers and herbs: we got lavender (dried), rosemary, lilac and rose
- Spray bottles
- Essential oils, we used lavender
Cut or tear the herbs and flowers and add them inside the bottles until about 3/4 full.
Add several drops of essential oil to each bottle. We added about 6-7 drops each.
Add filtered water until full and shake to distribute the essential oil. You can use a funnel or a large pastry tip like we did to prevent spillage.
