Johnnie Mikel Talks About his Inspiration, Favorite Lyrics and Music Goals Johnnie Mikel is a 21-year-old pop sing from Kentucky who plays guitar, piano, ukulele, banjo and mandolin (but you'll learn more about that in his interview.) Johnnie also released a new single called "Come with Me" which you can listen to below. 1. Who has influenced you the most in your musical career? (Whether that be other artists or those you're close to.) I’m so blessed to have been influenced by so many incredible people! My family and friends are a major source of inspiration and love in my life. I’m very close to my family who instilled the confidence in me to follow my dreams and pursue my career. I also have several close friends both in and outside of the industry and I’m grateful for what all of them bring to my life. Having a support system between artists and creators who challenge and inspire each other is the best. As far as major artists influencing me, I love iconic pop hit-makers like Britney Spears.
