The Jonas Brothers Concert in Buffalo - Great!
"I have to say, the concert was a success beyond my wildest expectations. Caroline is still flying high two days later!
Even though the Jonas Brothers are Caroline's favorites, I did not buy her tickets to this concert when it was announced because we had just purchased tickets to the American Idol concert and money is tight for us this summer, as it is for many families.
As it got closer to the concert and your contest was announced, she asked if she could go if she won tickets. I said, 'Of course you can go if you win tickets', never dreaming in a million years she would actually win. She entered your contests for all the east coast cities, paying special attention to our local Buffalo concert. The night before the Buffalo winner was to be announced, she asked if she could stay up until midnight to see if she won. I said, "Of course not. Believe me, you won't win. Don't lose any sleep even thinking about it!"
When I came down to the computer the next morning, started to go through my normal e-mails and saw that she won, you could have knocked me over with a feather!
The concert was quite simply the best show of its kind I have ever seen and I am not exaggerating to say it was a highlight of Caroline's life so far and something she will not forget. She has read every word written about the Jonas Brothers and must have about 10,000 magazine photos of them. The look on her face when they appeared for the first time on the stage was priceless!
The seats were fantastic! We had the best view imaginable. The concert was a class act from beginning to end. I just can't say enough good things about it!
Thank you, Miss O and Friends, for making one girl's dreams come true!" - Sandy Wolf, mother of Caroline
Thank You For the Jonas Brothers Concert this Weekend!!!!
"Dear Miss O and Friends,
Thank you SO much for the concert tickets to the Jonas Brothers in Buffalo this weekend! I had an AWESOME time. I went with my friend Cate, my cousin Sara and my parents. We all agreed it was the best concert we had ever seen.
The seats we won were close to the stage and we had a really great view of the Jonas Brothers. My mom bought an extra ticket so she could come with us.
I LOVE the Jonas Brothers (especially Nick!) and I could not believe I actually won the tickets and got to go see them in person. I was super excited when they rose up on to the stage and started playing That's Just The Way We Roll. My friend Cate and I could not stop screaming, singing and dancing.
The special effects were really cool. There were lasers above us and the monitors were HUGE! It was Joe's nineteenth birthday the day of the concert so everyone sang him happy birthday. During one song Nick and Joe did flips and during another they stood on a little platform and rose 20 feet in the air! My favorite special effects were when they had flames shoot up during Burning Up and at the end when they had a giant JB symbol on fire.
I love the Miss O website and it was fun entering the contest. Thanks once again for the tickets and the chance to see Nick, Joe and Kevin live! I will remember it forever!
From, Caroline G." (winner of Jonas Brothers concert tix contest)
"Absolutely love the Miss O and friends website. I have a 10 year old daughter who is a member and on here all the time and she's recommended the site to all her friends. I also have a girl scout troop, so I get tons of ideas from the site, too. At the moment my whole troop is reading "Trouble with a Capital O" for a miss o book club night next week. We'll be doing one of the crafts, munching on one of the recipes & taking quizzes as we get to know the characters of the book. I also have the Book of Fabulous Fun--it's cool that I got ideas from. But I would love to see printable items on the site. Such as puzzles, coloring pages, stationary, book marks, mini posters--things that pertain to the characters. Love the whole Miss O gang Tammy"
"WOW! I ordered your light up bear for my daughter [from ShopMissOandFriends] on Thursday and it arrived on Saturday. She has been wanting this thing so badly and was so dissapointed when I couldn't find it locally. She is absolutely ecstatic. Thank you for making my little girl soooooo happy!" Sincerely, Karen Carlson
"Keep up the good work...my girls love your website, and I love the quality of your site, knowing that it's o.k. for my 11 year olds to spend time on this site, and I appreciate how sweet you are in your correspondence with the girls." Ragan, AL
"I am a mom of a ten-year old girl and I see her playing on this website every day. She loves all the puzzles and especially the jewelery maker. Thank you for creating this wonderful website for girls!" Lisa, MS
"Parents and Educators, Miss O. and Friends is a web site you can trust. Miss O. has provided my creative child ways to use her imagination through a forum where I know she is safe and secure. By being able to work independently and make decisions for her self, the Miss O. site has helped my daughter learn many skills. As a parent that home educates her children I recommend Miss O. to teachers as well! Although Miss O. is educational, I have never presented it to my daughter in that way. She is gaining home school credits, without even knowing it, through creative writing and art activities. There is nothing grander for a young learner than to see their accomplishments rewarded. Miss O. provides many ways for a child to gain a sense of achievement. Miss O.'s customer support has been simply amazing to me! As a parent that also works from home on the computer I have had to contact customer support at numerous web sites, and never have I experienced such quick and friendly results as I have from the Miss O. staff! If you are concerned with how your child spends their computer time, look closer at Miss O.! This is the most positive and child safe site I have found thus far! Thank you Miss O. for providing a safe, friendly, and free, site for my daughter and me!" Mrs. Howard, Howard Home School
"I want to get some “Miss O” gifts for my nieces for Christmas. I love the “Miss O’ product and the idea behind it." Christa
"I saw your interview with Teen Kids News. I am very impressed with your maturity and ability to see the problems that are infesting our small island. Our young girls have no appropriate role models in media. The young girls on our island end up looking up to Rap Stars and all the Sexy Girls in the videos. Even clothing retailers are selling sexy clothes for little girls…. Keep up the good work and don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe in!" Juanita, Island Girl Power Director, Guam
"I was also very impressed with the fact that Juliette was trying to show young girls that there are alternative subject matters that can be very interesting to their age group other than music videos and trying to dress sexy. She was trying to instill the belief into girls her age that it's okay to act their age and have interests that are more appropriate for their age group. I salute this young lady and wish there were more positive influences in the media such as this one." Marie
"Hi, I am a mother of a 7 year old girl who hasn't discovered your site yet that Juliette designed. My son actually, brought home the "Time for Kids" Magazine from school that had the article in it about Juliette's site. So, I decided to check it out. I just want to give Juliette and her team a big thumbs up. As a mom who is very strict about what my kids see on the internet and how much time they are actually on the computer, I am happy to say that the Miss O and Friends site gets a big thumbs up. I can't wait to show my daughter! My daughter is always drawing up new things, so hopefully Juliette's dream will encourage my daughter to keep drawing and that her dreams may just be around the corner as well! Good Luck to Juliette, Olivia and your whole marketing Team. I look forward to looking over my daughters shoulder and see what she is learning on the site!" Kim, Connecticut
"Thank you so much for the Miss O Journal for Keira. As Keira prepares for second grade, she has to build on her writing skills. One of the core components of the Language Arts curriculum for elementary students is a daily Journal. I'm sure Keira will enjoy writing about her summer in such a 'cool Journal.'" Lisa, New Jersey
"I am a special education teacher in NY and have an autistic student who has a true talent for art. She draws "girls" so much like yours and when I saw you featured on NBC news this morning, I had to write. I think you have captured the tween market perfectly. I would love to get my student and class onboard with your products and website. We often write product reviews for the local paper and would love to do a feature about your products and website." Monica, Educator, PJ Schools, New York
