In the new Disney flick, The Greatest Game Ever Played, Shia LaBoeuf, the star of Holes, plays Francis Oimet – the real life 1913 U.S. Golf Open champ. The story of Francis, a poor kid from the "wrong side of the tracks" who used sheer will and his God-given talent to make his way to the tournament and defeat the World Champ at his own game on his own turf, is truly inspiring. This is feel-good Disney at its very best.
